The independent & irreverent home for the Supporters' Football Team of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club:
Our actual team established May 1989...This actual blog established May 2007!
My name is Mishi, and I have been involved with the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters' Team ever since it was established way back in May 1989, for an end of season game on our old Champion Hill Stadium against a 'Club Staff & Players XI' in a not very serious game, at the suggestion of the then Hamlet First Team assistant manager John Langford. Through thick & thin (mostly thin) we've continued to play games & now, as well as friendlies, we play games in the Internet Football Association, and have been touring across Europe since 2002. The reason I have set up this site is to try record for posterity what we have achieved, and to have a bit of fun along the way! The idea to slowly add match reports, player profiles & interviews, and photos. Much of the past-if I'm honest most of it, has been lost over the mists of time, not helped by the amount of alcohol I've downed in the past! But this isn't, & never will be, a definitive record or history of the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters' Football Team. Why now? Well with our team hosting our first ever International Football Tournament on Saturday 12th May 2007 I thought it would be an opportune moment to try and set up our own site. By neccesity,as I don't own my own home computer, and understand sod all about them anyway, it will be very basic to begin with. Truth be told I have no idea how it will evolve. But whatever happens with it I hope you enjoy it, whether part of our team or not, and look back on here now and again at some irregular postings, which will not just cover future games, but I hope to include some trips down memory lane as well! Thank you.
